New construction Gennadi update 4) 13 July 2026

 

Unfortunately, the construction is taking a little longer than planned, but the progress is clearly visible. The exterior of the house has been painted and the framing of the windows and sliding doors has been completed. In the foreground the large swimming pool is visible. The pumps and filter system have now also been delivered and connected, almost ready to be filled. Tonight the plumbers will install the solar water heater so that there is hot water in the kitchen and bathrooms (2).

Tomorrow, concrete will be poured for the last piece of separation wall. That is always a spectacular sight. Also check out our Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/aeglos_villas

Connecting the various activities, especially at the end of the construction process, requires careful planning and orgaization. The danger, as always and especially on an island where construction workers are scarce, lies in the priority that the individual professionals (can) give to your project. Everyone wants to be ready as soon as possible, but that is simply not possible for everyone. We have certainly been lucky so far, but we have nevertheless been delayed.
