Villa Aeglos, perfect for the ultimate luxury vacation, is located just outside the charming village of Gennadi. Just imagine: spectacular views of the sea and mountains, a large private pool measuring a whopping 40 m², a spacious luxury villa equipped with every convenience, complete privacy, free WiFi, a spacious outdoor kitchen, and a charming village within walking distance (5 min). Villa Aeglos offers all this and more.
On the large and sunny rooftop terrace, you can lounge to your heart’s content on the comfortable lounge sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two full bathrooms, and the three bedrooms each feature a king-size bed, a large television, and plenty of closet space.
The large terraces downstairs offer plenty of space and furniture for sunbathing, and you can sit comfortably in the shade under the pergolas.
This large vacation home is situated in a quiet location within a spacious, fully walled garden with private parking spaces. Don’t be surprised if, at dawn or dusk, deer are grazing on the land behind and next to the villa.
Villa Aeglos is equipped with no fewer than 22 solar panels and batteries for electricity storage. Together with the large solar water heater, this makes the house completely independent of polluting energy sources. The house was built with the help of local craftsmen, and the materials used were all produced or purchased from local businesses. The same applies to virtually the entire interior.
The only problem with Villa Aeglos? At the end of the vacation, nobody wants to go home!

Over gennadi:
In Gennadi, you’ll find a supermarket, a bakery, a greengrocer, various shops, and countless restaurants. The beach is 600 meters (less than 10 minutes walking) away and also features several tavernas.
The first time we came to Gennadi, we fell in love with it right away.
It’s quiet in the winter, especially in terms of the number of tourists, but there’s also a lot of construction going on. New vacation homes and apartments are popping up in various places around the village. Shops and restaurants are being renovated, buildings and furniture are getting a fresh coat of paint, and the LAB, the main gathering spot serving as a café, bar, pub, and terrace, is always open. It’s especially busy on Sunday mornings, once the church has emptied out.
When you talk to the people who work in the shops or restaurants, you notice that many of them, including young people, have been away for a while. To Athens, to other islands, or even abroad, but many are coming back. You can sense their pride and connection to the village. Homesickness brought them back to Gennadi. We expect our guests will experience the special atmosphere in Gennadi and, once back home, to feel a little homesick too!
