Many visit the Acropolis of Lindos, only the one in Athens is larger, but be sure to explore the stunning surroundings of Lindos as well. Don\u2019t miss a trip along the island\u2019s west coast, with its rugged, towering mountains and cliffs, the ruins of Ancient Kameiros, or the castle on the rock: Monolithos. In this area, you\u2019ll find spectacular gorges and wild, completely deserted beaches.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Spring, which begins here as early as February, is one big celebration of flowers and countless shades of green. The Prasonisi Peninsula in the south is famous as a hotspot for kiteboarding and windsurfing. And our personal favorites: Anthony Quinn Bay (Kounna Beachbar) and Kolymbia (Beachclub Verano).
